Scarab Global Community Impact Fund (SGCIF) is a fund that makes direct private loans of short- to medium-term duration, and sometimes co-invests with established lenders and well regarded funds.
It serves as an alternative to high yield bond funds. The SGCIF focuses on community development and environmental restoration – investing in strong leadership with innovative solutions in any global region, but with a primary focus in the United States.
SGCIF’s investments have been chosen to provide a high yield with well managed risk including strong collateral and/or verified guarantees. In addition, when possible and appropriate, equity like “kickers” can boost performance to surpass traditional alternatives.
The Fund’s direct loans are all secured with strong collateral and/or verified guarantees.
